STANDING BEAR

Standing Bear residence is settled on a breathtaking cliffside lot between state land and national forest, this rustic timber frame home serves as both a launch point for outdoor adventures and a cozy retreat for relaxation. Built using beautiful hand-hewn timbers from two dismantled 19th-century barns, the design features a 45-degree angled covered entry that invites guests in while wrapping around the space to create a welcoming atmosphere. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a foyer and adjacent dining room with a picture window showcasing stunning mountain views. With an abundance of outdoor living spaces, the highlight is the screened porch, complete with log trusses and a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for enjoying the serene natural surroundings in every season.

“My husband and I have been working with Ross for many years. He designed our cabin which was featured in a national magazine and we just completed our new house which he helped us design. He is very creative and great to work with! We highly recommend him!”
